PATROL DIVISION

The Patrol Division serves as the front line of the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office and is the most visible representation of our commitment to public safety. Operating around the clock, our deputies provide continuous law enforcement services across the entire county—responding to calls for service, proactively deterring criminal activity, and maintaining a strong, professional presence within our communities.

Patrol deputies are highly trained and equipped to handle a wide range of situations, from routine service calls and traffic enforcement to critical incidents requiring immediate action. As first responders, they are often the initial point of contact in emergencies, making rapid assessments, securing scenes, rendering aid, and initiating preliminary investigations. These early investigative efforts are crucial in preserving evidence and developing critical, time-sensitive information that is relayed to the Criminal Investigations Division to support successful case outcomes.

In addition to responding to calls, our deputies take a proactive approach to crime prevention. This includes conducting regular business checks in commercial areas, performing neighborhood patrols and residential checks, and enforcing traffic laws to ensure roadway safety throughout the county. These efforts are designed to deter criminal activity, reduce accidents, and provide peace of mind to our citizens and business owners alike.

Beyond enforcement, our deputies take pride in building relationships with the citizens we serve. Through vigilance, accountability, and a proactive policing approach, the Patrol Division works not only to respond to crime—but to prevent it—ensuring San Jacinto County remains a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.
