The San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for Deputy Sheriff positions in the Patrol Division.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas and respond to calls for service
- Conduct preliminary investigations
- Enforce state and local laws
- Prepare detailed reports and court documents
- Testify in court proceedings
Requirements
- Must be TCOLE certified or certifiable
- Valid Texas driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass background investigation
- Must pass physical fitness test and psychological evaluation
